Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 4, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Patch Test Tracker (also referred to as Patch Test Log for Esthetician) handles information. The app is designed for licensed professionals in salons, spas, and medspas to keep patch-test, consent, and treatment records organized.
1) What we collect
We do not collect, receive, or store any personal data from your device.
No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
No data transmission to our servers (we don’t have any).
We don’t sell or share data with third parties.
2) What stays on your device
All client, product, and treatment information you enter (e.g., client intake, consent status, product brand/lot/expiration, reactions, notes) is stored locally on your device. PDFs and CSVs you generate are created on-device and saved to locations you choose.
Emails & exports
If you choose to email a PDF/CSV, the message is sent via your device’s mail client or share sheet. We do not see or store the contents. Any copy you email or upload is subject to the policies of the destination service (e.g., your email provider).
Notifications
24/48-hour reminders use local notifications; they do not contact external servers.
If you enable system-level backups or cloud storage (e.g., iCloud/Google Drive), your data may be backed up under those providers’ policies—not ours.
3) Sensitive & professional data
The app can store information related to skin reactions and procedures. You are responsible for how you use, store, export, and retain such records in accordance with your local laws, licensing rules, and professional guidelines. The app does not provide medical advice.
4) Children
This app is intended for licensed professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
5) Your rights
Because we don’t collect or control your data, requests like access, correction, or deletion should be performed within the app (edit/delete entries) or within your device storage/backups. If you have questions, contact us and we’ll help you locate the relevant device settings.
6) Security
We rely on your device’s built-in security (passcode/biometrics, encrypted storage). Protect access to your device and choose secure export destinations. We recommend keeping regular, secure backups.
7) Data retention
Retention is under your control. You decide how long to keep client records to meet your compliance obligations.
8) International transfers
We don’t transfer data internationally because we do not receive it.
9) Changes to this policy
If we change how data is handled, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date.
