Privacy Policy — Facial Forms
Last updated: August 10, 2026
Who we are
Developer: Marci DeWeese
App: Facial Forms for iOS and iPadOS
Internal project name: Esthi Forms
Short version
Facial Forms is designed as a local-first paperless forms app for estheticians.
Your client forms, signatures, notes, records, and PDFs stay on your device unless you choose to export, share, print, email, message, back up, or otherwise send them using Apple or device features.
We do not sell your data. We do not use ads. We do not use App Tracking Transparency tracking or IDFA.
We do use privacy-safe analytics to understand broad app usage, such as app opens, screen visits, form workflow completion, export actions, and purchase/restore flow events. These analytics do not include client names, contact details, form answers, signatures, notes, PDF contents, file names, treatment details, email recipients, phone recipients, payment details, Apple ID, transaction IDs, receipts, or raw user-entered content.
What data we collect
Facial Forms does not collect or transmit your client form content to us.
The app does not send us:
client names
client contact details
form answers
notes
signatures
photos
PDF contents
PDF file names
treatment details
email or text recipients
Apple ID
transaction IDs
receipts
payment card or bank details
Analytics
Facial Forms uses privacy-safe analytics to understand broad app usage and improve the product.
Analytics may include broad events such as:
app opened
screen or tab opened
form workflow started or completed
signature completed
PDF export or share action used
paywall viewed
purchase or restore flow result
review prompt interaction
Analytics are used only for product improvement and basic business understanding.
Analytics do not include client form content, client identity, contact details, notes, signatures, PDF contents, file names, treatment details, or user-entered private information.
App Store privacy labels
Facial Forms’ App Store privacy information may disclose the following analytics data types:
Device ID — used for analytics
Product Interaction — used for analytics
Purchase History — used for analytics
This data is not used for tracking and is not linked to you for advertising purposes.
Where your app data lives
Your forms, signatures, notes, records, and other app content are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad.
If you choose to back up your device or app data to iCloud or another backup service available through your device or Apple account, that backup is controlled by you and your provider. We do not access, receive, or store that backed-up data.
If you choose to share content using Apple features such as the system share sheet, email, Messages, AirDrop, Files, or printing, that content is sent only through the option you choose. We do not receive or store it.
Subscriptions and payments
Facial Forms may offer auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple’s App Store.
Pricing is shown in the app and in the App Store before purchase. Billing, subscription management, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple.
We do not process payments directly and do not receive your full payment information.
Permissions and integrations
Facial Forms may use Apple device features when you choose to export, share, print, email, message, or back up app content.
Facial Forms does not use:
advertising SDKs
IDFA
App Tracking Transparency tracking
data brokers
user accounts
background collection of client form content
Crash reports and diagnostics
We do not use third-party crash reporting tools for client form content.
If you have enabled device diagnostics sharing with Apple, Apple may provide developers with anonymized crash or diagnostic information. That information does not include your form content.
Children’s privacy
Facial Forms is intended for professional use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can use Facial Forms without creating an account or giving us client information.
Because your client records stay on your device unless you choose to export, share, print, email, message, or back them up:
deleting items in the app removes them from the app;
deleting the app removes locally stored app data from your device, subject to iOS behavior and any backups you control; and
cloud backups can be managed through your Apple or device backup settings.
Data security
Your local app data is protected by Apple’s iOS and iPadOS security model and app sandboxing on your device.
We do not operate servers for Facial Forms client records.
International users and legal bases
Because Facial Forms is local-first and does not send client form content to our servers, privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA generally apply only in limited ways to our handling of app data.
If you contact us for support, we will use the information you provide, such as your email address or screenshots, only to respond to your request.
Changes to this policy
If Facial Forms adds features that require new types of data collection, we will update this Privacy Policy before those changes take effect.
